The Regional Institute of English (RIE) is a premier Institute at the national and international levels that helps states shape their policies and practices in English language education. The Institute was established in 1963 with the aim of facilitating a continuous process of quality enhancement through research and development in curriculum, materials and training related to English language teaching. HMPIETR has signed MoU with RIE and agreed to work collaboratively in teacher training programmes and materials production. Both Institutes have similar objectives to achieve and thereby agreed to assist each other by exchanging faculty and students. Dr. Jaykumar, Director of RIE and Dr Anil Varsat ( IQAC Coordinator) signed the agreement on 29th December 2018.
